This site consisted of a warehouse of approximately 100,000 sq ft which was surplus to the client requirements. On behalf of the client we undertook a review looking at the both the refurbishment and redevelopment options assessing which would yield the best value for the client by looking at costs and uplift in value. A decision was made to proceed with a refurbishment, and a schedule of works along with a cost plan and programme produced. A purchaser for the building was identified prior to commencement of the works, providing the client with 90% of the anticipated future return.
Short term income
A number of our clients own prominent sites within busy town centres or close to arterial routes where we are seeking planning for redevelopment. Through experience we have built up a full knowledge of the issues and operators within this sector and can advise on the best strategy to drive temporary income through banner and advertising space and car parking.
